Rooster X Wuka RS Feva Grand Prix Series Round up.
The excitement was palpable as each event unfolded, bringing together a vibrant community of sailing enthusiasts. The friendship among sailors and their families created an atmosphere of support and shared passion, which was evident in every race. The venues, each with their unique charm, provided diverse conditions that challenged and honed the sailors’ abilities, driving them to push their limits.
At Ballyholme YC, sailors contended with brisk winds and challenging waves, while Hayling Island Sailing Club offered a tidal challenge and tricky coastal breezes. The Winter Championships at WPNSA tested endurance with its chilly conditions, yet the spirit of competition kept everyone warm. As spring arrived, Draycote Water Sailing Club welcomed us with open arms, providing a perfect setting for fine-tuning skills before heading inland to Burton Sailing Club, which offered up some classic lake sailing in light winds.
Finally, the series concluded at Parkstone Yacht Club, where the sailors showcased their growth and tenacity. The final races were filled with thrilling moments, close finishes, and visiting sailors from Lithuania joined us for the Euro Cup 4 event.
A fantastic GP series at great locations throughout the UK. The Feva spirit of competitive racing and fun on and off the water were always evident and it will continue next season.
Throughout the series it was clear that the Rooster x Wuka Grand Prix Series was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of sailing, community, and enjoyment.
