Our first training session with SE Feva Academy – Bewl Water
This weekend’s conditions at Bewl were challenging, especially for me and my sailing partner, Maddie, since this was only our 3rd time sailing together in a Feva. The first day was very windy, with gusts reaching 30 knots. We improved a lot on our upwind sailing and how to right the boat quickly after capsizing.
After sailing we all went to the aqua park where more of our friends joined; later on we had an Opi-styled BBQ.
The wind on the second day was lighter and gradually increasing throughout the day. We learnt a lot about downwind sailing, improving our tacks and communicating better with each other.
