Tricky day on the water for the Rooster RS Feva Grand Prix event 1 at Draycote Water Sailing Club
The breeze was patchy and shifty so sailors needed to keep alert and eyes open to see what was going to happen next.
Coach Tim Rush quickly shared some videos from the days racing, sharing hints and tips with the advantage of showing real life examples for the day. Sailors would then be able to put into action all they had learnt from this really cool addition to the weekend.
Due to lack of any consistent wind only one race was completed on Sunday and with that the GP1 winners crowned! Congratulations to Draycote Sailing Clubs Freddie Sunderland and Stella Nygard for taking the win, closely followed by Hayling Island Sailing Clubs Marc Jenkins and Alex Sydenham in 2nd and Royal Southern YC Freddie Callaghan and Thomas Roy in 3rd.
