The UK RS Feva Class Association committee continues to navigate our way through all that is happening at this time. We have continued a strong dialogue with our host clubs and together we have studied the “road map” and continue to discuss our options. You will be pleased to hear that the UK RS Feva Nationals is looking safe at this time, however being between steps 3 and 4 on the road map we will still face some restrictions, but we are confident that we can have a superb event and are super excited to be planning for you all.

Sadly, we have already had to cancel our UK RS Feva Spring Championships and today after ongoing discussions with the Northampton SC we feel that the Grand Prix event due to take place on 24th and 25th April should not go ahead under the step 2 restrictions. When you study the RYA COVID-19. A roadmap for the return to boating activity in England document you will see that we will still be in step 2 of the road map with travel listed as – minimise travel. Added to this only domestic overnight stays (household only) are permitted and this is further restricted to self-contained accommodation only, no hotels will be open. Added to this there is uncertainty around offering catering and so many other hurdles that we had to consider.

We have booked in again for 3rd and 4th July, the event will only go ahead if we can get the numbers to make it viable, with the Inlands the weekend before and RYA event the weekend after we know it will make for a busy time, but we figured everyone will be super keen to get that overnight stay either camping or in the good old Premier Inns around the country!

Notice of Race for the UK Nationals is being finalised and we will be opening entry very soon.

We are nearly through this…..

Looking forward to seeing you all very soon
