It is with a truly heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of RS Feva Worlds 2020 in Tranvmunde, with the COVID-19 Pandemic forcing the German Government to now prohibit all mass gatherings up until August 31st the decision was taken out of our hands.
We understand that this will add to the many disappointments our RS Feva sailors, their families, supporters, and friends are facing at this time.
We have several options open to us and wish to present some of our ideas to each country’s class representatives and interested parties at a Zoom meeting on Tuesday 28th April at 1900 British Summer Time, the meeting numbers are limited so we ask that you register your interest by completing this form – Zoom Class Meeting Attendance Request Form by Monday 27th April 1200 BST. All those registered will receive the online meeting details via email.
We are currently in discussion with the Travemünder Woche organisers about the POSSIBILITY of running the RS Feva World Championships next year in the same place. Nothing is fully confirmed, and I must stress that this is in the discussion phase, we hope to update you more next week.
