We went to Bewl Water for our regional training with our great coaches Alice Masterman and Rich Sheridan and who was also supported by Josh. The weather wasn’t great as it was light winds but we did some fun sailing games on the water which helped improve my boat handling, initially, we learnt about rig tuning but when we went on the water we did some races to improve our starts. After we came in and did a quick shore session and I learnt about not hooking my leech as much.

On Sunday there was hardly any wind so we went out and did a fun game of boat football to help improve boat handling skills. Then we came in and did a shore session and I learnt about how the slot between your jib and mainsail can influence your speed. Big thank you to the coaches for organising a great training weekend. It was great to see so many different sailors there at the weekend.
