A great weekend of coached racing with Tim Rush, there were 22 boats on the water enjoying the racing and coaching.
Lots of wind on Saturday saw the fleet complete one race in the afternoon. With sailors Freddie Callaghan and Thomas Roy taking third place, Tristan Ahlheid and Finlay Lomas-Clarke came second and first place went to Maya Bergmann Smith and Emilia Ripley from Hayling Island Sailing Club .
Sunday brought some kinder conditions and the sailors got a full day on the water, completing a further 4 races.
Race 2 – Finley Southon and Charlotte White from Bough Beech / Wilsonian Sailing Clubs finished the race in third place. Second place went to Mark Jenkins Jauma and Alex Sydenham from Royal Lymington Yacht Club/Hayling Island Sailing Club. First place went to Tristan Ahlheid and Finlay Lomas-Clarke from Frensham Pond sailing Club.
Race 3- Finley and Charlotte took third place position. Maya and Emilia Ripley came in second place, with Tristan and Finlay taking another first place position.
Race 4- Imogen Green and Felicity Angell from Draycote Water Sailing Club took third position, with Joanna Walker and Mhairi MacDonald sailing at their home club- Queen Mary took second place. First place was won by Tristan and Finlay making that a triple bullet!
Race 5- The final race…third place went to two brothers Oliver and William Stratton-Brown from Frensham Pond Sailing Club. Second place went to Tristan and Finlay and in first place was Mark and Alex.
